Within 30 days of one the following events, business shall electronically update the <br /> information submitted to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS): <br /> -A 100 percent or more increase in the quantity of a previously disclosed material. <br /> -Any handling of a previously undisclosed hazardous materials <br /> -A change of business address, business ownership, or business name. <br /> Immediately log into the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov/, enter the <br /> correct or updated information, and submit to the EHD for approval. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 11 HSC 25505(a)(4) Failed to provide or document initial and/or refresher training to appropriate personnel. <br /> Documentation showing initial and annual refresher training of 1. Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate <br /> local emergency response personnel and to the unified program agency; 2. Procedures for the mitigation of a <br /> release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to persons, property, or the environment; <br /> and 3. Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site; was not available at the <br /> time of inspection. The business plan shall include provisions for ensuring that appropriate personnel receive initial <br /> and annual refresher training. All employees shall be trained in safety procedures in the event of a release or <br /> threatened release of a hazardous material, including, but not limited to, familiarity with the following plans and <br /> procedures: <br /> (A) Immediate notification contacts to the appropriate local emergency response personnel and to the unified <br /> program agency. <br /> (B) Procedures for the mitigation of a release or threatened release to minimize any potential harm or damage to <br /> persons, property, or the environment. <br /> (C) Evacuation plans and procedures, including immediate notice, for the business site. This training shall be <br /> documented electronically or by hard copy and shall be made available for a minimum of three years. <br /> Immediately provide employee training for appropriate personnel and submit a copy of the training records to the <br /> EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class 11. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by September 16, 2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
