However, the violation regarding
the hazardous waste determination for paint spills in the store is still open, because waste generated from clean-up of
paint spills must also have a complete hazardous waste determination made for them. If your plan is to allow the paint
waste to dry before disposing it into the trash, please submit Safety Data Sheets (SDS), waste sampling and test results
or other knowledge to support your hazardous waste determination.
Please also complete and submit Return To Compliance Certification form, attached.
Thank you,
Elianna Florido, REHS
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
Registered Environmental Health Specialist
1868 East Hazelton Ave
Stockton, CA 95205
P: (209)468-34201I 1 F: (209)468-3433 1 E: eflorido@slgov.org
✓N4JOAQUII'IN
+ CFC459fiQ55 grows her!.
From: Colton T. The two concerns
listed in yoru report were in regardfs to hazardous waste determination, and contingency plan. I've attached an
email I sent to the store giving them direction on how to handle unsellable/returned acrylics paints in the
store. These paints will be treated at hazardous waste and will not be disposed of with regular trash.
1
