Going forward,please treat all
unsellable returned/damaged paints as hazardous waste (toxic). During our research we were told by Recology,
South Bay Recycling in San Mateo County, and Waste Management that no liquid paints may be disposed of in the
trash, which include acrylics. However,we were told by these same companies that should you have a small spill,
you may clean the paint off the floor and allow it to fully dry,and place in regular trash. Should you have any
questions please contact me and I will answer your questions.
Colton Croasdale, CSP
Safety Manager
RISK MANAGEMENT
P: 405.745.1877
F: 405.745.1719
E: colton.croasdale@hobbylobby.com
7707 SW 44th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73179
140BBY LOBBY
i
