SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Kruger Foods, Inc. 18362 E HWY 4, Stockton September 09, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS 11,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed with oil on the top of the drum. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator must maintain and operate its facility to minimize the <br /> possibility of a fire,explosion, or any unplanned sudden or non-sudden release of hazardous waste or hazardous <br /> waste constituents to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately clean up the top of the drum. Manage the waste according to Title 22 <br /> California Code of Regulations for hazardous waste. Submit a statement and supporting documentation to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department describing the storage and final disposition of the cleaned up <br /> waste. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: One black metal 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed without the words"hazardous waste", <br /> generator name and address, accumulation start date and physical state on the label. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition(contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are <br /> marked with all the required information. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by October 9, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
