All the violations will be closed except
for violation #504 will remain open. The photos you sent only addressed labeling the inlet, vapor line
outlet, and adjacent valves for the aqueous ammonia tank. All the piping and valves for both
anhydrous ammonia and aqueous ammonia tanks should be labeled. Not only loading and
unloading point of the process, but also all the piping that lead to the injection points of ammonia
(eg.. piping going from the ammonia tanks to the Injection points of ammonia, ammonia tubes and
panels inside the furnace area, Emergency Shut off valves for both systems, etc..). I would
recommend paining any rusty piping and then label them. I attached photos that I took as samples
for the areas need labeling.
Please call me if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Hata Saeed
Lead Sr. Registered Environmental Health Specialist
San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
1868 E.
