Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for any <br /> applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval prior to <br /> commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Contact Zuna Barker at (209) 953-7311 to arrange the following appointments (a 48-hour notice is <br /> required for inspection appointments) . <br /> • Overfill prevention verification : Measurement of drop tubes to verify 95% tank volume shut off. Complete <br /> and accurate drop tube calculations must be provided prior to this inspection . If ball floats are installed , <br /> it must be verified that they don 't interfere with the installed flapper valve . <br /> • Spill bucket test: Verify minimum 5-gallon capacity and pass a one hour hydrostatic test (or <br /> equivalent) . Proper drainage must also be verified . <br /> • Corrosion protection : Verify corrosion protection for direct bury spill bucket prior to backfilling . <br /> 4 . Since concrete will be broken near the tank, a secondary containment test must be performed on the <br /> tank once concrete is poured in accordance with the manufacturer' s guidelines . <br /> Please be aware that the facility cannot receive fuel in the tank prior to the EHD inspection <br /> and approval . <br /> 1868 E .
