According to Kassandra Witthoft, store manager, empty <br />chemical containers, from either store-use or spills in the store, are thrown into the trash. When asked how spill <br />clean-up waste, including absorbent, is managed, Kassandra stated spill clean-up waste is also placed in the trash. <br />A Family Dollar sign above the mop sink states “Never dispose of potential hazardous waste in the trash or down <br />the mop sink” (IMG 5132). <br />- An empty container of Nyco Table Time 200 Food Service Sanitizer was found adjacent the hazardous waste <br />storage area (IMG 5122). <br />Any person who generates a waste shall determine if the waste is a hazardous waste.
