Environmental Health Department <br />Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br />Date: <br />April 25, 2019 <br /> Facility Address: <br /> 2318 S AIRPORT WAY, STOCKTON <br /> Facility Name: <br /> FAMILY DOLLAR #31867 <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />(CLASS I, CLASS II, or MINOR - Notice to Comply) <br />RemarksItem # <br />times except when adding or removing waste. <br />Immediately place all hazardous waste in a closeable container, close these containers and ensure all hazardous <br />waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br /> 404 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to inspect hazardous waste storage areas at least weekly. <br />Hazardous waste containers are not inspected weekly. <br />- The most recent Family Dollar Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area Inspection form found was completed on <br />4/17/19 by Monica Gabales, store manager (IMG 5620). According to Monica that was the last time she completed an <br />inspection of the hazardous waste area. <br />- The Family Dollar Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area Inspection form asks employees "Are there no leaking <br />bags? Are there no free liquids in the bagged items?" and "Are all bags properly sealed?" However, a container of LA's <br />Totally Awesome All Purpose Cleaner Degreaser Spot Remover was found leaking out of an unsealed bag and into the <br />bottom of an ST HW tote with accumulation start date 9/10/18 (IMG 5554, 5557, 5561-2). <br />- A Family Dollar Hazardous Waste Accumulation Area Inspection form was found signed by Monica Gabales, and <br />dated 3/13/19, however the form was not completed (IMG 5621). <br />Hazardous waste container storage and transfer areas shall be inspected weekly for leaking containers and for <br />deterioration of containers and the containment system caused by corrosion and other factors. <br />Immediately begin conducting the necessary weekly inspections for all hazardous waste containers at this facility. <br />This is a Class II violation. <br />Page 11 of 16 <br />FA0001729 PR0544373 SC001 04/25/2019 <br />EHD 22-01 Rev. 09/27/2018 Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator OIR <br />1868 E.
