A copy of each bill of <br />lading must be kept on site for at least three years. Immediately locate a copy of all bills of lading for used oil filters <br />for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD. <br />A metal used oil filter was observed laying on a shelf. Used oil filters shall be drained of free-flowing oil, stored in a <br />closed, rainproof container, labeled as “drained used oil filters,” and marked with an accumulation start date. <br />Immediately properly handel the used oil filter and ensure that all used oil filters are managed in this way. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br />Overall Inspection Comments: <br />Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br />documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br />paperwork, by September 26, 2018. <br />Please be aware as of January 1, 2013, all businesses are required to submit all hazardous materials <br />information online to the California Environmental Reporting System (CERS) at http://cers.calepa.ca.gov. Be <br />sure to include your hazardous waste activity in the Businesses Activities section in CERS in addition to any <br />other relevant activities and required fields. <br />Disposal records were not available for review during the inspection.
