Environmental Health Department <br />Facility Name and Address: GOLDEN STAR CAFE, 2121 S EL DORADO ST, STOCKTON 95206 <br />Food Program Official Inspection Report <br /> #23 Rodents, Insects or Animals Inside Facility <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed a live roach and a few dead roaches in varies locations of the facility. Owner stated that the <br />facility is serviced monthly and was serviced and the end of last month. Clean and remove all dead pest, continue to <br />implement pest control. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Each food facility shall be kept free of vermin: rodents (rats, mice), cockroaches, flies.( 114259.1, 114259.4, <br />114259.5) <br /> #40 Proper Use and Storage of Wiping Cloths <br />OBSERVATIONS: Observed wiping clothes being stored on counter tops and not placed back into the sanitizer buckets. <br />Keep and maintain all wiping clothed stored inside of the sanitizer bucket at all times. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Wiping cloths used to wipe service counters, scales or other surfaces that may come into contact with food <br />shall be used only once unless kept in clean water with sanitizer. (114135, 114185.1 114185.3 (d-e)) <br /> #45 Floors, Walls, Ceilings; Clean and Maintained <br />OBSERVATIONS: The facility contains tile and coving damage in varies locations in the facility, advise considering <br />replacing the floors in the near future. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: The walls / ceilings shall have durable, smooth, nonabsorbent, light-colored, and washable surfaces. All floor <br />surfaces, other than the customer service areas, shall be approved, smooth, durable and made of nonabsorbent material that is easily <br />cleanable. Approved base coving shall be provided in all areas, except customer service areas and where food is stored in original <br />unopened containers. Food facilities shall be fully enclosed. All food facilities shall be kept clean and in good repair.
