Learner objectives are to:specify why regulatory standards are established,identify the scope and purpose of the Occupational Safety and Health Act(OSH Act),identify the purpose of the major regulatory agencies that establish regulations impacting the workplace (OSHA,EPA,DOT),identify the purpose of RCRA,CERCLA,and SARA,identify hazardous waste,identify the scope and purpose of HAZWOPER,identify steps to prevent hazardous materials and exposure to hazardous waste,and identify which workers are affected by HAZWOPER.
