I explained the reason for my visit and asked if he knew of any
complaints being made of the similar nature from customers. He stated that a customer had brought to his attention the
restroom toilet being clogged and the customer left upset, but no other complaints have been made to his knowledge. I began
observing the restrooms in which they are stocked with soap in a pump dispenser and contain a motorized air dryer for hand
drying. The manager states that only one restroom has the air dryer due to not having the mounts to install the second one
yet.Advise to install as soon as possible. He then stated that at time he does not have soap or paper towels or toilet paper in
the restroom due to the homeless population coming into the restroom and taking it. Explained to monitor the restrooms on a
frequent basis and maintain stock as much as possible during operational hours. The back area of the facility were produce is
wash ismaintained at this time. The manager stated that the back area does become cluttered when shipments arrive but it is
usually taken care of the same day.The facility itself is not filthy, contains general debris from operational use and the aisles
of the store are clean. The dumpster area does contain debris on the floor but the manager stated that waste management
never place the dumpster back into the holding area, allowing the homeless to enter, leave debris and even start fires. Highly
recommend Waste Management is made aware of the issues arising from the dumpster not being placed back after the
garbage is disposed of. Photos were taken and a photo log will be attached to the inspection report.
Observed no major violations at this time.
Official inspection report emailed.
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
Received by: Name and Title:
EH Specialist: VICTOR ACEVEDO Phone: (209)468-0337
FA0002150 C00052427 SCO04 08/14/2020
EHD 16-23 Rev.8/11/2020 Page 1 of 1 Food Program Complaint Inspection Report
1868 E.
