Contact the local fire department and the San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District <br /> for any applicable permits and requirements . <br /> 2 . Any changes in information and scope of work must be submitted to EHD for approval <br /> prior to commencing work . All new addenda supersede the previous ones . <br /> 3 . Provide written notification to ust( � siaov . orq to arrange the following inspection <br /> appointments . All appointments must be scheduled 48 hours in advance . <br /> a ) Visual inspection of the penetration fittings/piping on all UDCs for any leaks . <br /> b ) A secondary containment test must be performed on the UDCs in accordance with <br /> the manufactures guidelines or equivalent and test results submitted to the EHD <br /> within 30 days of testing . <br /> 4 . Secondary containment testing on all UDCs is required six months after installation . <br /> Provide 48 hours notification to the EHD when this test is scheduled . <br /> 5 . Any individual performing the work of a service technician must meet the following <br /> qualifications : <br /> a . Possess or be employed by a person who possesses one of several permissible valid , <br /> current contractor' s licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board ( may be <br /> issued to the installation company) , or a Tank Tester' s license issued to the individual <br /> by the State Water Board , and <br /> b . Possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically <br /> present at the work site who possesses a valid , current California UST Service <br /> Technician certificate issued by the International Code Council ( ICC ) , and <br /> 1868 E .
