The last daily tank logs <br /> available for review during the inspection were from 2014. The following items are required to be inspected at least <br /> daily: <br /> 1. overfill/spill control equipment; <br /> 2. aboveground portions of the tank system to detect corrosion or releases of water; <br /> 3. data gathered from monitoring and leak-detection equipment; <br /> 4. outside areas of the tank system including secondary containment to detect erosion or signs of releases of <br /> hazardous waste; <br /> 5.for uncovered tanks, the level of waste in the tank. <br /> Immediately begin required inspections of the hazardous waste tank system, and document the items inspected. <br /> Submit a copy of the inspection log for the next 30 days to the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 512 CCR 66265.192(h) Failure to obtain an assessment or reassessment of a hazardous waste tank system. <br /> Facility does not have a current tank assessment for the 500 gallon used oil tank. The last tank assessment has a <br /> date of October 11, 2009. The owner or operator of a hazardous waste tank shall obtain a written assessment <br /> reviewed and certified by an independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California attesting that the <br /> system has sufficient structural integrity, is acceptable for the transferring, storing, and treating of hazardous waste, <br /> and that the tanks and containment system are suitably designed. Immediately have a reassessment prepared for <br /> the 500 gallon used oil tank. Submit the tank reassessment to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 601 CCR 66262.34(a)Stored hazardous waste on site longer than 90 days without a permit or authorization. <br /> Two 55 gallon drums of used paper filters were observed on the west side of the property without accumulation start <br /> dates. The last disposal record for paper filters was October 24, 2017. Facilities who generate more than 1000 kg <br /> of hazardous waste per month may store waste on site up to 90 days.
