(209) 832-3867 <br /> Program Element: 1600 - FOOD PROGRAM Complaint#: C00052312 <br /> DESCRIPTION OF COMPLAINT ALLEGATIONS <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department received the following complaint: <br /> 000052312 states: "COMPLAINANT ALLEGES THE BAUDUCCO BRAND SHORTBREAD COOKIES THEY PURCHASED <br /> AT THIS FACILITY SMELL AND TASTE STRONGLY OF PAINT AND CHEMICALS. COMPLAINANT STILL HAS PACK OF <br /> COOKIES." <br /> VIOLATIONS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS <br /> Items listed on this report as violations do not meet the requirements set forth in the California Health and Safety Code commencing with section 7; <br /> 113700.All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and have the potential to cause foodborne illness.All major violations must be corrected immediately. Non-compliance may warrant immediate closure of <br /> the food facility. <br /> OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS <br /> FOOD ITEM --LOCATION --TEMP°F--COMMENTS <br /> No Temperature Data Collected <br /> NOTES <br /> Store Manager is on site and is not aware of the complaint. <br /> Product in question is a pre-packaged item found on customer shelving: Bauducco shortbread cookies. Per Manager, this <br /> product comes in on a pallet from the vendor and it stocked on the shelf upon arrival. <br /> Upon opening a package of the cookies, there is an off odor. Store Manager removed 12 packages of the product from the <br /> shelf and will return them to the vendor. <br /> Product has a Best By date of 01-06-2021 <br /> Company e-mail address: cs@bauduccofoods.com <br /> The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and <br /> Safety Code.
