SKS' composting house can process 10 tons of chicken manure per pit
(hole), and we have a total of 2 pits. SKS
is now working to build 2 more pits in the composting house. This will give
us capacity to process 40 tons of manure a day. SKS also has enough room in
the composting house for one more composting machine and 4 more pits.
This will increase the capacity in composting house to process another 40
tons of chicken manure a day.
Any extra chicken manure will be taken off site to other farmers. Any
manure hauled from SKS Brandt facility must be approved by EHD.
3. The two new chicken houses will have capacity for 150,000 birds each, and
will generate a total of 12.9 tons of
chicken manure a day.
4. Honen#6 is cleaned every 8 to 10 months. We liquefy the manure and
transport it to the manure pond.
5. The manure pond and manure pits are located on the map attached.
6. Honen#9 is a concrete structure building. It has 48,670 sq. ft. We would like
to use it as a storage for composting manure.
Rolando Calderon for SKS Date
