Dicks Sporting Goods, 2770 Reynolds Ranch Lodi, CA Record ID PR0543690
08/31/2020 CUPA— Hazardous Waste
PHOTO# 1
Violation 102: An All-Star Tiger Stick batting grip was found leaking into the item's own packaging, inside the Defectives storage container. According to
Robert, defective items are sent to the facility's distribution center, located in Goodyear, Arizona. Robert indicated that the leaking batting grip could be
managed as hazardous waste. Robert stated he would have to go into the facility's WERC computer system to determine which hazardous waste
container the batting grip should be placed. At the time of inspection Robert was unable to login to the WERC system. During review of the inspection
report, Robert logged into the WERC system, typed in the batting grip's UPC (029343541605), and no information or Safety Data Sheets came up for the
batting grip. Robert went to the Tigerstick.com, which states for the batting grip, " 'This product is not considered to be or to contain hazardous chemicals
based on evaluation made by our company under the OSHA Hazard Communication Standard, 29 CFR 1910.1200.' No SDS Sheet is required..."This
violation issue was corrected on the date of inspection.
1
C .
FPO-
. ,70
 FCT1 VE
08/3w-02012: PM
Elianna Florido, REHS Page 1 of 5
