In mid 1990 a Regional Water Quality
Control Board approved remedial action plan was implemented, the shop
maintenance area was demolished and the former tank pit area was
overexcavated. Investigation of the groundwater contamination
proceeded from that time. The contaminant of concern is
1,2-dichloroethane. In 2009 a closure rpeort was submitted;
determination has been made by the consultantt that that contaminant
trends were stable and decreasing.
Click here to access the California GeoTracker records for this facility:
Contact:
Global Id: T0607799501
Contact Type: Regional Board Caseworker
Contact Name: JAMES BARTON
Organization Name: CENTRAL VALLEY RWQCB(REGION 5S)
Address: 11020 SUN CENTER DRIVE#200
City: RANCHO CORDOVA
Email: jbarton@waterboards.ca.gov
Phone Number: Not reported
Status History:
Global Id: T0607799501
Status: Open-Case Begin Date
Status Date: 07/31/2001
Global Id: T0607799501
Status: Open-Assessment&Interim Remedial Action
Status Date: 10/15/2008
Global Id: T0607799501
Status: Completed-Case Closed
Status Date: 04/01/2010
Regulatory Activities:
Global Id: T0607799501
Action Type: ENFORCEMENT
Date: 10/23/2008
Action: Staff Letter-#10/23/2008
Global Id: T0607799501
Action Type: Other
Date: 07/31/2001
Action: Leak Discovery
Global Id: T0607799501
Action Type: RESPONSE
Date: 01/30/2002
Action: Other Report/Document
Global Id: T0607799501
Action Type: RESPONSE
TC4914603.2s Page 86
