Individuals installing underground storage tank system components must possess or work under the <br /> direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of <br /> the following : <br /> a . A valid , current contractor's license issued by the Contractors State License Board , and <br /> b . A valid , current UST Installation/Retrofitting certificate issued by the International Code Council <br /> ( ICC) , and <br /> c. A valid , current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being installed . <br /> 7 . The tank owner or operator shall log into the California Environmental Reporting System ( CERS) at <br /> http : //cers , calepa . ca . goy/ and ensure all UST information is current. <br /> 8 . All components must be certified by an independent testing organization and labeled as required by the <br /> organization ( UL , ULC , ANSI , API , ASTM , etc. ) . See California Code of Regulations ( CCR) Title 23 , <br /> Chapter 16 , Table B for a complete list . <br /> 9 . Permit expires 180 days from the date of approval .
