Approve Site Approval Application No. SA-92-73 based on the Findings and subject to the Conditions of Approval recommended in the staff report. FINDINGS 1. The proposed use is consistent with the goals, policies,standards, and maps of the General Plan and any applicable Specific Plan or Special Purpose Plan. • This Finding can be made because the site's AG-40 zone is consistent with Its General Plan designation of A/ (General Agriculture). Poultry farms are Included in the Animal Raising/Small Animals use type and may be permitted in the AG-40 zone subject to an approved Site Approval application. The proposed reestablishment of the poultry farm presents no significant General Plan policy issues, and there Is no Specific Plan for the project site. 2. Adequate utilities,roadway improvements,sanitation,water supply,drainage,and other necessary facilities have been provided,and the proposed improvements are properly related to existing and proposed roadways. • This Finding can be made because the project has public road frontage on Carter Road and because provisions for storm drainage and on-site sewage disposal and water service must meet County standards and Code requirements. 3. The site is physically suitable for the type of development and for the intensity of development. • This Finding can be made because the proposed project and site plan, subject to the recommended Conditions of Approval,will conform to all applicable Development Title regulations and Code requirements. 4. Issuance of the permit will not be significantly detrimental to the public health, safety, or welfare, or be injurious to the property or improvements of adjacent properties. • This Finding Can be made because the initial Study prepared for SA-92-73 found that the project would not result In significant, adverse impacts on adjacent properties. 5. The use is compatible with adjoining land uses. • This Finding can be made because the proposed use is a permitted agricultural use isIn an agricultural area.
