The following is an itemized list of hazardous waste violations that have not been <br /> addressed for 209 ENGINE PROS as of November 15, 2019. <br /> Open violations from October 01, 2019 inspection <br /> Violation #101 - Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> OBSERVATION: This business does not have a hazardous waste ID number in the California Department of Toxic <br /> Substances Control (DTSC) database. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of, transport or offer for <br /> transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Identification <br /> (ID) Number. A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br /> month, less than one kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br /> numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br /> to obtain a State ID number . Immediately apply for your ID number and submit evidence to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Violation #303 - Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br /> equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: Three fire extinguishers were observed inside the shop with the indicators pointed to recharge or <br /> empty. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control <br /> equipment, and decontamination equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure <br /> its proper operation in time of emergency. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Bring the fire extinguishers into proper working order by repair, replacement or testing. <br /> Provide a corrective action statement to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> ❑ This violation was corrected ❑ This violation will be corrected by (date): <br /> ❑ Supporting documents included <br /> Describe actions taken or will be taken to correct violation: <br /> Page 1 of 1 <br />
