SAN J 0 A Q U 1 N Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y 1 Iii <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> T J TRUCK REPAIR 5225 W ELEVENTH ST,TRACY October 10, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br /> waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: <br /> - Three 55 gallon drum with used oil observed with no lid for the bunghole. <br /> - One 55 gallon drum with used coolant observed with no lid for the bunghole. <br /> - One 5 gallon bucket partially full with used oil observed with no lid. <br /> - Four oil pans observed partially full with oily liquid observed with no lid. <br /> - One oil pan with used oil observed with no lid found in the dirt lot area of the property. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE:A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed <br /> when not adding or removing waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. The containers <br /> were: <br /> -Three 55 gallon drums with used oil observed without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -One 55 gallon drum with used coolant observed without a hazardous waste <br /> -One 5 gallon bucket with used oil observed without a hazardous waste label. <br /> -Four oil pans observed partially full with oily liquid observed with no hazardous waste labels. <br /> -One oil pan with used oil observed without a hazardous waste label found in the dirt lot portion of the property. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the containers as required for hazardous waste.
