S0 JOA U 1 Environmental Health Department <br /> U ; i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> T J TRUCK REPAIR 5225 W ELEVENTH ST,TRACY October 10, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 712 CCR 66273.34 UW handler(UWH)failed to label universal waste to identify type of universal waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility has not labeled their universal waste(UW)as required by this section. The following <br /> universal waste was observed on-site with incomplete labeling: <br /> -Approximately 5 lead acid batteries observed on the ground with no universal waste batteries label. <br /> -17 lead acid batteries observed on a wooden pallet with no universal waste batteries label. Found on the dirt lot <br /> portion of the property. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> Except as otherwise provided in subsection (g)of this section, a universal waste handler shall label or mark <br /> universal waste to identify the type of universal waste as specified in subsections(a)through (f)of this section. <br /> (a)Batteries(i.e., each battery), or a container in which the batteries are contained, shall be labeled or marked <br /> clearly with the following phrase: "Universal Waste-Battery(ies)". <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately label the UW as required by this section. Provide a corrective action <br /> statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department(EHD) <br /> within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> An inspection checklist was provided to the facility operator on the day of inspection.
