The following sections present a brief description of the site and project, our
scope of services, and the findings of our investigation .
On October 18, 2018, Technicon collected a total of five soil samples from the excavation bottom
at the location of the former 100-gallon kerosene underground storage tank. The soil samples were
all collected at seven feet below ground surface. The soil samples collected during this investigation
were collected by use of a slide hammer into a clean stainless-steel tube. After sampling , the ends
of the sample tube were covered with Teflon® film, capped with plastic end caps, labeled , placed
into a plastic bag and sealed . The samples were then placed in an ice chest cooled with synthetic
ice for delivery to the analytical laboratory for chemical analysis.
The soil samples were chemically analyzed for the presence and concentration of total, STLC, and
TCLP lead by EPA method 6020. Castle Analytical Laboratory in Atwater, California and
McCampbell Analytical Laboratory in Pittsburg , California are state-certified laboratories and
conducted the soil analyses.
CORPORATE OFFICE — 4539 N.
