The PEA <br /> Workplan includes site background information and a field sampling plan for the <br /> proposed investigation activities. <br /> On February 19, 2003, additional information was requested regarding the proposed <br /> soil gas sample collection and procedures, and the soil sampling analytical methods. <br /> These issues were clarified in an Addendum to the PEA Workplan (Addendum) <br /> submitted by URS Corporation., dated February 28, 2003. <br /> Based on the information provided, DTSC hereby approves the PEA Workplan and the <br /> Addendum. The Lodi Unified School District should provide a notice to residents in the <br /> immediate area, approved in form by DTSC, prior to start of field investigation activities. <br /> PEA fieldwork is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, March 18, 2003. Please notify DTSC <br /> a minimum of 48 hours in advance of schedule changes. <br /> The energy challenge facing California is real.
