Tretheway Road
Lockeford, CA 95237
INCOMPLETE REPORT OF WASTE DISCHARGE, SCHATZ WINERY, ACAMPO,
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY
I have reviewed the 31 July 2001 Report of Waste Discharge (RWD) for the Shatz Winery prepared by
Summit Engineering, Inc. and determined that additional information is required. Therefore, this letter
requests additional information necessary to complete the RWD. The RWD addendum must address all
items listed on the enclosed sheet entitled"Additional Information Requirements" and must be prepared
under the supervision of a California licensed Registered Engineer.
A filing fee was not submitted with the July 2001 RWD. The filing fee is based on the threat and
complexity of the discharge, as described in the enclosed filing fee schedule. We have determined that
this discharge is categorized as 2B, with a$1,200 annual fee. Therefore, the RWD is to include a$1,200
check, made payable to the State Water Resources Control Board. Please include a check in the amount
of the filing fee, and all supporting information to this office so that we may initiate the WDR process.
Note that many of the information requirements listed in the Regional Board's 6 December 2000 Request
for a Report of Waste Discharge were not addressed in the July 2001 RWD and therefore are repeated
here. If you have any questions about these report requirements, please telephone me at (916) 255-3116.
TIMOT R.
