ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REQUIREMENTS 2 <br /> SCHATZ WINERY <br /> ACAMPO,SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> 12) Describe management provisions that will be implemented to prevent the occurrence of flies, <br /> mosquitoes, and odor nuisances and problems such as pond overflows (maintenance plans, <br /> standby pumps or generators, and contingency plans, etc.). <br /> 13) Describe the storage and disposal of all solid wastes generated in the winemaking process. <br /> Include a description of operation and maintenance procedures that prevent odor complaints, fly <br /> breeding, or other nuisance condition. <br /> 14) Provide a description of the land application area and the disposal technique. State the number of <br /> acres of land used for disposal and crops planned for application areas (show locations of land on <br /> map). Describe harvesting and crop disposal procedures. Describe the mixing ratio of <br /> wastewater and supplemental irrigation water prior to application, and describe the tailwater <br /> control and return system. (Note: Discharge of wastewater to fallow land is not an acceptable <br /> method of disposal). <br /> 15) Provide a conceptual cropping plan which describes available acreage, crop type, crop water <br /> usage, cutting , harvest, and removal. Wastewater application shall be performed at agronomic <br /> rates; cropping shall take up all applied nitrogen. <br /> 16) Provide information sufficient to determine whether this discharge of wastewater will adversely <br /> impact underlying groundwater.
