Confirmation
soil samples will be analyzed for the following:
• TPH gasoline range by USEPA Method 8015B(M)
• BTEX by USEPA Method 8021 B
• TPH diesel range by USEPA Method 8015B(M)
• TPH motor oil range by USEPA Method 8015B(M)
• Moisture content by ASTM Method D-2216
ARCADIS will mark excavation boundaries using a handheld global positioning
system (GPS). Pending the results of confirmation sampling, the excavation will be
backfilled to existing grade with clean fill. Asphalt slabs damaged during excavation
will be repaired to equivalent original conditions.
Investigation Derived Waste
As discussed above, all removed soil will be placed in roll-off bins. After the
completion of excavation activities, the roll-off bins will be transported to an
appropriate disposal facility.
Reporting
Following the completion of initial field sampling activities, additional excavation and
confirmation sampling, a letter report will be prepared to summarize the field
activities and sample results. All sample locations will be measured in the field and
presented on a site map provided with the letter report.
If you have any questions or comments, please contact me at 925.296.7827 or
kathleen.abbott@arcadis-us.com.
Page:
6/7
