Two 55-gallon containers of used/waste oil were observed in an open shed <br /> structure, located behind the shop building. It couldn't be determined how long these containers were onsite. <br /> Also, two 5-gallon containers of kreosote were observed in an open shed structure located next to the walnut <br /> hulling area, Mr. Giannecchini indicated that he's had it for a few years and he had no use for it. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> the words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, <br /> composition(contents), and the accumulation start date. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Two 55-gallon containers of used/waste oil were labeled at the time of inspection, <br /> the two 5-gallon containers were not labeled. Immediately label all containers as required for hazardous <br /> waste. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department (EHD)within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, 30 days from the receipt of your final report. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead of <br /> having them sign.
