1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This Plan is for the DMP at McDI and was prepared in response to discussions at an <br /> August 24, 1999, meeting between the CVRWQCB and PG&E. The additional <br /> hydrogeologic assessment will address issues, raised at this meeting, to further define the <br /> In <br /> upper and lower aquifer. This document describes the objectives, approach, and <br /> methodologies proposed for site characterization activities in the area of the facility. <br /> Specific objectives include: <br /> • Installation of one new deep well near MW2 and MW5. <br /> • Assessment of possible impacts to the deep aquifer. <br /> • Determination of hydraulic interconnection, or lack of interconnection, of the shallow <br /> and deep aquifers. <br /> • Installation of one new shallow well located 500 feet north of MW 1 RD near MW2 and <br /> MW5. <br /> An Additional Hydrogeologic Assessment Report will be prepared following evaluation of <br /> all data.
