EQUIPMENT OPERATION <br /> When a new worker is employed he shall be instructed in the <br /> cafe ope — 'ion of equipment if he is not familiar with that <br /> particular piece of equipment. <br /> P . Apprentices will always be given instruction: regarding safety <br /> of operating equipment for the conditions. <br /> 3 . A>>y apprentice which is not capable , in the opinion of <br /> supervisory personnel , shat t not be allowed to operate <br /> equipment in a dangerous area : <br /> 4. Any operator not complying with safety instructions shall not <br /> beallowed to operate equipment . <br /> 5 . Special attention shall be given when gradesetters , laborers , <br /> j lagmenz or, others are in the proximity of the equipment being <br /> operated . <br /> 6 . Always be conzscious of persons on: the ground when reversing <br /> direction. <br /> 7 . Get off equpment and explore ground conditions ahead where <br /> visibility is hampered . <br /> 8 . Lower blades, scraper bowls , tool bar buckets to lowest <br /> possible position when getting off machine . <br /> ^. Do not allow others to ride on equipment when there is not <br /> adequate protection for them . <br /> 10.
