No <br /> further action is required to correct this issue. <br /> 2. OBSERVATION: A complete modified contingency plan with an assigned emergency coordinator was not <br /> posted at the facility. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: The emergency coordinator or his designee must respond to any emergencies that <br /> arise. The business operator must post the following information next to telephones or in areas directly involved <br /> in the generation and accumulation of hazardous waste: the name and emergency telephone number of the <br /> emergency coordinator, the location of fire extinguishers and spill control material, and the telephone number of <br /> the fire department unless the facility has a direct alarm. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The issue was corrected during the inspection by Petina Brandenburg, Store Manager, <br /> who posted the required information in the hazardous waste storage area at the time of inspection. No further <br /> action is required to correct this issue. <br /> 3. OBSERVATION: The following open hazardous waste storage containers were observed on-site: A blue <br /> hazardous waste drum containing and labeled as Toxic Non RCRA Hazardous Waste was found with its lid not <br /> properly closed and secured to the drum at the time of inspection. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A container holding hazardous waste shall always be closed during transfer and <br /> storage, except when it is necessary to add or remove waste. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The issue was corrected during the inspection by Petina Brandenburg, Store Manager, <br /> who properly closed the hazardous waste drum at the time of inspection. No further action is required to correct <br /> this issue. <br /> 4. Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by 10/14/2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign. Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate <br /> ($152).
