Immediately have a properly licensed, trained, and certified <br /> contractor repair or replace the failed component under permit and inspection of the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class ll. <br /> 314 HSC 25290.1,25290.2, 25291 Failed to have secondary containment or secondary containment not tight. <br /> Brine was found in the bottom of the diesel STP sump, 87 STP sump, 91 STP sump, diesel fill sump, 87 fill sump, <br /> and 91 fill sump, indicating a leak in the secondary containment. Secondary containment shall be impervious to the <br /> liquid and vapor of the substance contained and constructed to prevent structural weakening as a result of contact <br /> with any hazardous substances released from the primary containment. Immediately contact a properly licensed, <br /> trained, and certified contractor to make repairs to the UST system under permit and inspection of the EHD. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> The monitoring system certification was conducted today, 10/16/2019. EHD did not witness the complete <br /> inspection. Looked inside all sumps and UDCs. Verified sensor locations and piping communication. Liquid was <br /> found in UDC 8/7, 12/11 and 13/14 and in the 87, 91, and diesel fill and STP sumps, indicating brine leak. <br /> NOTE: A paperwork inspection is still needed. A checklist was provided at the time of inspection.
