Satellite Accumulation <br /> ■ An area may be considered a satellite <br /> accumulation area (SAA) if it is: <br /> — An area at or near the point of waste generation <br /> — "Under the control of an operator" <br /> — Less than 55 gallons (per waste stream or total, <br /> depending on state) <br /> in Waste may be accumulated indefinitely in an SAA <br /> as long as the following conditions are met: <br /> — Containers must be kept closed and in good condition <br /> — Containers must be labeled <br /> — Full containers must be removed within 3 days <br /> ■ Some states have accumulation time limits or <br /> other additional requirements for SAAs <br />
