A used oil tank lacked the start accumulation date. Earlier in the day, a hazardous waste hauler <br /> pumped out all the waste oil but the start accumulation date was not noted on the hazardous waste <br /> label. All hazardousaste tanks shall be marked with the following information: <br /> 1. the words "Nazar ous W ste", 2. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label th tank a d ensure that all hazardous waste tanks are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> - Corrected on site. tart accumulation date marked on tank. <br /> 83. Used electronic aste (printers, telephone) and two computer monitors were observed unlabeled in <br /> the main repair shop A generator shall label or mark universal waste with the words 'Universal Waste' <br /> and the type of wast . (alkaline batteries, mercury containing equipment, fluorescent bulbs, electronic <br /> devices, CRTs, aerosol cans). Immediately label these wastes and ensure that all universal wastes are <br /> labeled with the requ�red information. <br /> 84. Facility was unable to d monstrate the amount of time waste electronic devices and computer <br /> monitors were stored on site A generator of universal waste (alkaline batteries, mercury containing <br /> equipment, fluorescent bulb , electronic devices, CRTs, aerosol cans) shall accumulate universal waste <br /> for no longer than one year f,om the date the waste was generated. Immediately dispose of this waste <br /> as universal waste and submit a copy of the disposal record to the EHD. <br /> Submit to SJC EHD ithin 30 days (09/05/11): <br /> 1. one copy of the co plete "Return to Compliance Certification" form <br /> 2. a written correctiv action statement for the above violations <br /> 3. disposal receipts f r electronic devices <br /> Notes: <br /> - In 2010 year, facili4 generated approximately 1080 gallons (4.32 Tons) of used oil, 140 gallons (0.56 <br /> Tons) of used antifreeze and 190 pounds (0.095 Tons) of oily debris = 4.98 Tons of hazardous waste <br /> - Provided free traini g schedule for July - Dec 2011. Recommended courses: Hazardous, Universal & <br /> Basic Auto Industry Flazardois Waste Management courses. <br /> - Provided brochure IlIn Small Business Hazardous Waste Disposal facility.
