Non-storm water discharges suspected of being sanitary sewage and/or <br /> significantly contaminated will be investigated within 24 hours. <br /> 2. Investigation priority will be given to investigations of SSOs and/or <br /> significantly contaminated discharges over flows such as cooling <br /> water, wash water, or natural flows. <br /> 3. The City will determine and document the source of all non-storm <br /> water discharges. If the source is determined to be allowable (by <br /> permit or ordinance), no further action will be required. <br /> The City will take the following corrective action steps to eliminate the illicit discharge: <br /> 1. Notify the responsible party of the problem. <br /> 2. Require the responsible party to conduct all necessary corrective <br /> actions to eliminate the discharge within 72 hours of notification. <br /> 3. Follow up to verify elimination of discharge (corrective action)has <br /> been satisfactorily completed. <br /> 4. Document the follow-up investigation. <br /> 5.
