All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as"MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br /> and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code of Regulations(Title 22)section 65545. <br /> #10 Disinfectant Residual <br /> OBSERVATIONS:Upon arrival, the chlorine concentration was at 1.0 ppm, pool operator added liquid chlorine as well as <br /> granular chlorine.After chlorination the concentration of chlorine is at 10.0 ppm. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Public pools, when open or in use,shall be disinfected continuously by approved chemicals and shall maintain <br /> the following concentrations: 1.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine without cyanuric acid, 2.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free chlorine with cyanuric acid <br /> or 2.0 ppm bromine. Spas, wading pools,and spray grounds shall maintain the following concentrations:3.0 ppm to 10.0 ppm free <br /> chlorine or 4.0 ppm bromine. (CCR 65529) <br /> #13 Cyanuric Acid Concentration <br /> OBSERVATIONS:The concentration of cyanuric acid is greater than 100 ppm, the operator must maintain a cyanuric acid <br /> level below 100 ppm. If this concentration is above 100 on next inspection this will shut down the pool. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool operator shall maintain cyanuric acid concentration between 0.0 ppm and 100 ppm. (CCR 65530) <br /> #22 Skimmer Assembly <br /> OBSERVATIONS:One skimmer was melted from a chemical reaction from calcium chloride that created enough heat to <br /> warp the skimmer. skimmer was replaced on site. <br /> Skimmers were full of leaves upon arrival. Corrected on site. <br /> CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br /> maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
