PREVENTATIVE MAINTENANCE <br />Annually, inspect the flapper in the 7150 to see that it is <br />open by looking down the drop tube opening. Test the <br />7150 drop tube seals with CARB procedure TP -201.1 D. <br />If the drop tube seal passes testing, no further mainte- <br />nance is required. If the drop tube fails testing, replace <br />the drop tube seal with OPW PIN: H11931 M for 4" <br />Tubes. Re -test the 7150 drop tube with GARB proce- <br />dure TP -201.1 D. The lower tube o -ring seal OPW PIN: <br />H14840M can also be replaced. 1f this does not correct <br />the leak the 7150 needs to be replaced. <br />FOR TESTABLE MODELS ONLY: The socket adaptor <br />can be removed and poppet and float movement and <br />function inspected without removing the valve. See <br />Page 17 forfull testing details. If replacement parts are <br />needed for testable models the following items are <br />available: OPW PIN 206741 Testable Inlet Tube 51A, <br />206740 Socket Adaptor and Cable Assembly, and 61 SOK <br />CAUTION: Do not insert any foreign object into drop <br />tune if flapper is in the closed position. For exam- <br />ple, a tank level measuring stick. This will damage <br />the valve and void the Warranty. ALWAYS check <br />flapper location before "sticking" the tank. If flap- <br />per is in the closed position, the tank is either over- <br />filled and you need to wait until the liquid level goes <br />down or the 71 SO Is damaged and needs to be re - <br />7150 Performance Specifications <br />This overfill Prevention Valve has been manufactured <br />and tested to, and met, the following California specifi- <br />cations. Testable Models Only; <br />Socket Adaptor, 114" NPT, 3.5 ft -lbs 02 in -lbs} minimum <br />to 5.0 ft -lbs (60 in -lbs) maximum. <br />IMPORTANT: Leave these installation instructions <br />and maintenance procedures with the station opera- <br />tor. <br />18 <br />
