EMPLOYEE TRAINING PLAN — EL DORADO FOOD MART <br /> Employees must be given this training when starting work, and refresher training is then provided annually. <br /> * Things To Know . <br /> 1. Emergency Shut-Off Switch : This turns off the turbine pumps that provife flow to the dispensers from the <br /> underground tanks . Shutting off the pumps will prevent further spill . <br /> Location : On the north side wall of the building, near the Employee restroom door. <br /> 2 . Electrical Panels : These panels allow you to stop power flow in case of fire danger. <br /> Locations : 1 . Behind door in back of cash registers . 2 . back room wall, near employee desk. 3 . main power <br /> switch out back, large metal storage door. <br /> 3. Water Shut Off: Llocation : North east corner of property, on sidewalk. <br /> 4. First Aid Kit : Contains burn spray/lotion, bandaids , first aid cream, gauze, tweezers . <br /> Location : In cabinet under small hand-washing sink, near fryer. <br /> S. Fire Extinguishers : Use on small fires and vehicle fires, call 911 for larger fires . <br /> Locations : 1 . on wall next to office door. 2 . on wall in side store room, near walk in cooler. <br /> 6. Absorbent: In the form of crystals or cloth, absorbant can soak up small spills of gasoline, diesel, or other <br /> petroleum products . Spills should never be washed down a drain ! In case of large spills, attempt to contain it, <br /> and call 911, then the appropriate reporting agencies . <br /> Location : Absorbent is outback, located in orange bucket, Spill kit, with bumpers for containment is located on <br /> the bottom shelf in the back of the employee back room, near the freezer. <br /> FIRST AID PROCEDURES : (FOR EXPOSURE TO GASOLINE OR DIESEL FUEL) <br /> A. EYE CONTACT: Flush with water for 15 minutes holding lid open, follow with medical attention. <br /> B . SKIN CONTACT: Flush with water, remove contaminated clothing. Follow by washing with soap and <br /> water. Wash all contaminated clothing before reusing. If irritation persists, follow with medical attention . <br /> C . INHALATION : (Breathing) Remove victim to fresh air. If difficulty breathing, get medical attention . <br /> D . INGESTION : ( Swallowing) Do not induce vomiting as gasoline can enter lungs . Get medical attention <br /> immediately. <br />
