An automotive part appears to have leaked dark oily substance on the gravel and soil outside rear of <br /> the shop. Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or <br /> release of hazardous wast to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the <br /> environment. Immediately remove the contaminated soil and gravel into a properly labeled hazardous <br /> waste container, a manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement <br /> and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br /> 30. Three empty 55 gallon metal containers, one of them has a hazardous waste label, formerly held <br /> hazardous substances are found stored outside rear of the shop. Containers larger than five gallons <br /> that previously held a haze rdous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and <br /> managed within on�6 year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this <br /> section. If these metal containers are sent for recycling/ disposal, retain receipt onsite for a minimum of 3 <br /> years and submit a copy to EHD. <br /> 20. One 30 gallon drum of ily debris and one 5 gallon bucket of brake shavings are both missing a <br /> hazardous property and ar initial start accumulation date. All hazardous waste containers shall be <br /> marked with the following i formation: <br /> 1. the words "HazairdousWaste", 2. name and address of generator, <br /> 3. hazardous properties, 4. physical state, <br /> 5. composition (contents), 6. accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all <br /> the required information. <br /> - Corrected onsite. terns ere marked with date and hazardous property was marked 'toxic' <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BOVE TED DAT ILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSP TION A P&YftI D'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Insp ct r _ J ived By: Title <br /> EHD 23-02-003 Rev 07/12/11 CONTINUATION FORM <br />
