The HMMP is maintained in the Hazardous Material binder, behind the <br /> Environmental Business Plan tab. <br /> To update the HMMP: <br /> • Remove and replace the specific pages mailed to the store. <br /> • Recycle the old pages that you replaced. <br /> Hazard Material Management Plan (HMMP) <br /> Used nil Recycling <br /> In this chapter, you will learn about: <br /> • used oil recycling, <br /> • used oil signage and labeling, <br /> • orphan fluids, <br /> • oil or chemical spill cleanup, and <br /> • absorbent collection drums. <br /> Used Oil Recycling <br /> • Customers are allowed to return only 5 gallons of used oil per visit. <br /> • Only Safety-Kleen or their representatives are permitted to provide used <br /> oil tank service to AutoZone stores. <br /> • Used oil manifests and/or service order forms must be kept in the Used <br /> Oil Manifest file for at least 3 years. <br /> • Reminder: Obtain the used oil manifest or service documents from the <br /> Safety-Kleen driver when the driver picks up the used oil. <br /> • AutoZoners are responsible for preventing used oil or chemical spills from <br /> entering any drainage/sewer system. <br /> • Warning: All AutoZoners are responsible for making sure the lot, the <br /> perimeter, and the dumpster areas are free from environmental <br /> hazards, including orphaned oil and discarded oil containers. <br /> • Make sure used oil containers are drained of all free flowing oil before <br /> you throw them away. <br /> • Customers are not permitted to pour their used oil into the used oil tank. <br /> • Verbally advise the customer how to exchange the PCI for the California <br /> oil recycling incentive (currently $.10 per quart). <br />
