Since it <br /> cannot be determined how long the 2-55 gallon drums of used absorbent have been on site, immediately contact a licensed <br /> hazardous waste hauler to dispose of this waste under manifest and submit a copy of the manifest to the EHD by March 13, <br /> 2011. <br /> 23. 1-55 gallon drum of drained used oil filters was seen labeled as used absorbent. Used oil filters must be stored in a <br /> closed, rainproof container, labeled as"drained used oil filters,"and marked with an accumulation start date. Immediately <br /> recycle these filters under a bill of lading and submit a copy of the bill of lading to the EHD by March 13, 2011. <br /> 60 &62. Manifest numbers 001078105SKS and 000283832SKS were found without a signed off copy from the destination <br /> facility. Hazardous waste generators must maintain copies of TSDF-signed manifests for 3 years and have them readily <br /> available for review. The generator of >1000kg/mo, who does not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten <br /> signature of the owner or operator of the facility within 35 days of the date the waste was accepted by the initial transporter <br /> shall contact the transporter and/or the owner or operator of the facility to determine the status of the waste. If the <br /> generator did not receive a copy of the manifest with the handwritten signature of the owner or operator of the facility to <br /> which the generator's waste was submitted within 60 days(45 days for generators >1000 kg/mo)from the date that the <br /> hazardous waste was accepted by the initial transporter, the generator shall submit an Exception Report that includes a <br /> legible copy of the missing manifest, and a cover letter signed by the generator explaining the efforts to locate the hazardous <br /> waste and the results of those efforts. Exception reports shall be submitted to: <br /> DTSC Report Repository <br /> Generator Information Services Section <br /> P.O. Box 806 <br /> Sacramento, CA 95812-0806 <br /> Immediately locate a copy of the missing manifests or prepare and submit an exception report to DTSC.
