1. If human remains are found during construction, CEQA requires that <br /> further work or disturbance of the site be halted. The discovery will be <br /> inspected and the remains be handled in a manner consistent with Public <br /> Resources Code 5097.98-99, Health and Safety Code 7050.5, and CEQA <br /> Section 15064.5. <br /> 2. In the event any as yet undetected(i.e.buried)cultural or paleontological <br /> resources are encountered on the Project site at a future time, a qualified <br /> archaeologist or paleontologist shall be contacted to evaluate the find in <br /> conformance with 15064.5 of CEQA. <br /> (8) The uses allowed,or restrictions imposed,by this permit do not go into effect until issuance <br /> of the Solid Waste Facility Permit from the Integrated Waste Management Board. <br /> (9) Conditional Use Permit 9,Map 28 will supersede Conditional Use Permit 7,Map 28 upon <br /> issuance of the Solid Waste Facility Permit. <br /> (10) Conditional Use Permit 9, Map 28 shall be subject to any host fee, up to $2.50 a ton, <br /> adopted for disposal facilities by the Kern County Board of Supervisors. <br /> (11) This permit shall become null and void if the use authorized has not been activated within <br /> a one-year period of time of the approval of said permit, unless an extension of time has <br /> been granted by the decision-making authority, upon written request before expiration of <br /> the one-(1-)year period <br /> (12) Development in the proposed expansion area(approximately 30 acres) shall be limited to <br /> two gas monitoring wells. Any additional or expanded development may be subject to a <br /> formal modification of this to this Conditional Use Permit or a new Conditional Use Permit, <br /> as determined by the Director of the Kern County Planning and Community Development <br /> Department. <br /> (13) The landfill closure commencement date shall be as specified in the Solid Waste Facility <br /> Permit approved by the California Integrated Waste Management Board. Any change in <br /> closure date shall be reported to the Planning and Community Development Department <br /> and filed as reference; and <br /> *DENOTES 1VIITIGATION MEASURES <br /> GPA#7,Map#28; CUP#9,Map#28-Final Conditions <br /> T: 03/16/16-H:03/15/16 Page 11 <br />
