All notices and other communications <br /> 14 required or permitted under this Consent Judgment that are properly addressed as provided in <br /> 15 this Paragraph are effective upon delivery if delivered personally or by overnight mail,or are <br /> 16 effective five(5)days following deposit in the United States mail,postage prepaid,if delivered <br /> 17 by mail. <br /> 18 9. NECESSITY FOR WRITTEN APPROVALS <br /> 19 All approvals and decisions of the People under the terms of this Consent Judgment shall <br /> 20 be communicated to Flying J in writing. No oral advice,guidance,suggestions or comments by <br /> 21 employees or officials of the People regarding submissions or notices shall be construed to <br /> 22 relieve Flying J of its obligation to obtain any final written approval required by this Consent <br /> 23 Judgment. <br /> 24 10. EFFECT OF JUDGMENT <br /> 25 Except as expressly provided in this Consent Judgment,nothing in this Consent <br /> 26 Judgment is intended nor shall it be construed to preclude the People,or any state,county,or <br /> 27 local agency,department,board or entity,or any CUPA, from exercising its authority under any <br /> 28 law, statute or regulation. <br /> ( CONSENT JUDGMENT <br /> 17 <br />
