i <br /> Exhibit A <br /> People v_ Flying Jlnc. <br /> Initial Penalty Payment to Prosecuting Agencies <br /> Paragraph 3.La. <br /> Flying J shall pay$410,000 by a company check made payable to"Office of the District <br /> Attorney, County of Riverside." The monies shall be deposited in the Consumer Protection <br /> Prosecution Account in the General Fund of Riverside County and used for purposes consistent <br /> with that account. <br /> Flying J shall pay$410,000 by a company check made payable to"Office of the District <br /> Attorney,County of San Bernardino." The monies shall be used for the costs of the District <br /> Attorney's investigations, filing fees and other court costs,payment to expert witnesses and <br /> technical consultants,purchase of equipment,laboratory analyses,personnel costs,travel costs, <br /> and other costs necessary to pursue environmental actions investigated or initiated by the District <br /> Attorney for the benefit of the State of California and its citizens. <br /> Flying J shall pay$300,000 by a company check made payable to"Office of the District <br /> Attorney,County of San Joaquin."
