If a complete copy is not found, have a qualified Professional Engineer update the tank <br /> assessment and add the missing sections. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to <br /> the EHD within 30 days. Provide a copy of the updated assessment,when available. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> OBSERVATION: Hazardous waste containers were observed on-site with incomplete labeling. <br /> Bay 1: One black 55 gallon steel drum containing used antifreeze(1/2 full) had a hazardous waste label that was <br /> missing the hazardous property. <br /> One white 5 gallon plastic bucket containing metal fines(1/4 full) had a hazardous waste label that was missing the <br /> hazardous property and accumulation start date. <br /> Bay 2: Three black 55 gallon steel drums containing oily absorbent(2-1/4 full, 1-1/2 full)had hazardous waste labels <br /> that were missing the hazardous properties. <br /> Bay 7: One white 5 gallon plastic bucket containing metal fines(1/2 full)had a hazardous waste label that was <br /> missing the hazardous property. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: the <br /> words"Hazardous Waste", name and address of generator, hazardous properties, physical state, composition <br /> (contents), accumulation start date <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: The violation was corrected during the inspection by the labels being properly marked. <br /> No further action is required to correct this violation. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by October 22, 2020. <br /> To minimize person to person contact EHD is choosing to write the name of person receiving the report instead <br /> of having them sign.
