All violations must be corrected within specified timeframe. Violations that are classified as "MAJOR"pose an immediate threat to public health <br />and must be corrected immediately or be subject to closure pursuant to California Code or Regulations (Title 22) section 65545. <br />#8 Pool and Deck Lighting <br />OBSERVATIONS: Pool light is not functioning. Repair light and make sure it is on gfci properly operating. If the the light is <br />disconnected it must be by an electrician and submit a letter signed by the electrician to this department and post a no <br />swimming sign in the pool area. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pools used at night shall be equipped with underwater light fixtures that provide complete illumination of the <br />pool. When a pool is used at night, pool deck and emergency egress areas shall be provided with lighting. If underwater or deck lighting is <br />not operational, the pool operator shall post a sign in 4 -inch letters stating "NO USE OF POOL ALLOWED AFTER DARK" and shall <br />secure the pool area and not permit any use of the pool after dads. (311513) <br />#15 Operation Records <br />OBSERVATIONS: Chemicals are only tested when the pool is serviced. When the pool is open the chemicals must be <br />tested daily and logged. Correct when the pool is open for use. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall test the disinfectant residual, pH, and spa water temperature a minimum of once per day. <br />Cyanuric acid concentration shall be tested once per month if cyanuric acid is used. Combined chlorine shall be tested as often as <br />necessary to maintain the concentration below 0.4 ppm. Pool operator shall maintain written records of all maintenance and test results <br />for at least two years and shall submit those records to the enforcement agency upon request. (CCR 65523) <br />#17 Cleanliness of Pool <br />OBSERVATIONS: Some dirt in the pool and algae. Clean pool and treat pool for algae. Correct today. <br />CALCODE DESCRIPTION: Pool operator shall maintain clean pool water while the pool is in use and shall not allow debris to accumulate <br />in the pool. Pool operator shall clean the bottom, sides, and other surfaces of the pool as often as necessary to keep pool surfaces clean <br />and free of slime and algae. (CCR 65533) <br />#22 Skimmer Assembly <br />OBSERVATIONS: Weir is missing in the skimmer throat. Install by today. <br />CAL CODE DESCRIPTION: Pool shall be equipped to provide continuous skimming of the pool water. All parts of the skimmer shall be <br />maintained in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
