SAN JOAQUIN
Environmental Health Department
CCU 1T
Swimming Pool Official Inspection Report
Facility Name and Address: LINCOLN VILLAGE HOA#3, 6401 BELMONT PL, STOCKTON 95207
#37 Electrical Hazards
OBSERVATIONS:There is a light in the deep end nearest to the street that does not work and has water leaking into the
bulb. This could be an electrical hazard.
Spoke with the pool maintenance staff(Nick Salas)and they are aware of the situation, so he disconnected the wires that
bring electricity to the leaking light. I tested the lights in the pool when it was empty of swimmers and the light with water in it
did not turn on.
Only one light in the pool was working so I tested the GFCI breaker and it was working properly. Replace the leaking light
within one week.
CALCODE DESCRIPTION:Electrical equipment installed in the water, walls, deck, or equipment room of a public pool shall comply with
California Electrical Code. (CEC 680.4)Light fixtures installed in the pool that operate at more than 15 volts shall be protected by a ground
fault circuit interrupter. (CBC 31606)
OVERALL INSPECTION NOTES AND COMMENTS
OBSERVATIONS
Flow rate: gpm Chlorine: 2.2 ppm Temp: ° F
Cyanuric acid: >100 ppm pH: 7.6 Combined chlorine: 0.4 ppm
NOTES
One light has water seeping into the bulb, this could be an electrical hazard. The maintenance staff is aware of this problem.
In order to fix this the wires that bring electricity are disconnected so they could not touch. Because of this the pool must not
have night activities that require the lights to be on.The pool can remain open during daylight hours. Repair leaking light and
notify me so I can reinspect the lights.
Currently there is only one light that turns on,this is not enough to light the pool during dark hours. Replace or fix other lights
in the pool.
Cyanuric acid concentration is greater that 100 ppm.
The lifeguards on duty only have a copy of their lifeguard certification on their phones. It would be best to keep a physical copy
of the lifeguard certifications in case the phones failed.
Could not get an accurate reading on the flow meter. It is less that 150 gallons per minute.
Influent pressure: 12 psi
Effluent pressure: 11 psi
The person in charge is responsible for ensuring that the above mentioned facility is in compliance with all applicable sections of the California Health and
Safety Code.If a reinspection is required, fees will be assessed at the current hourly rate.
kjReceived by: Name and Title: Andrew England, Lifeguard
EH Specialist: AARON GOODERHAM Phone: (209)468-3442
FA0002422 PR0360391 SCO01 07/05/2018
EHD 36-01 Rev.06/30/15 Page 2 of 2 Swimming Pool OIR
1868 E.
