CALIFORNIA REGIONAL WATER QUALITY CONTROL BOARD <br /> CENTRAL VALLEY REGION <br /> ORDER NO. <br /> WASTE DISCHARGE REQUIREMENTS <br /> FOR <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> FOR <br /> POST-CLOSURE AND CORRECTIVE ACTION MONITORING <br /> CORRAL HOLLOW SANITARY LANDFILL, <br /> MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE LANDFILL FACILITY <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region, (hereafter Board) <br /> finds that: <br /> 1. The San Joaquin County Department of Public Works (hereafter Discharger) owns and <br /> operates a closed municipal solid waste landfill about 5 miles south of Tracy, in Section 18, <br /> T3S, R5E,MDB&M, as shown in Attachment A,which is incorporated herein and made AT <br /> part of this Order. 1�! <br /> 2. The facility consists of a single, closed landfill with 4 unlined waste management unit(s) <br /> (Unit), or modules, covering 42.79 acres of the total 57.71 acres. The facility is comprised <br /> of Assessor's Parcel Numbers (APN) 253-030-005, 253-030-006, and 253-030-007. <br /> 3. On 26 September 1994, the Board issued Order No. 94-259, in which the facility was <br /> classified as a Class III waste disposal site for the discharge of municipal solid waste in <br /> accordance with the regulations in effect when the order was issued. This Order is written <br /> in accordance with Title 27, California Code of Regulations, §20005, et seq. (Title 27). <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> 4. The closest Holocene faults are the Greenville and Calaveras faults located approximately <br /> 10 and 20 miles to the West, respectively. The maximum probable earthquake on the <br /> Calaveras fault is 7.0 on the Richter scale. The maximum credible acceleration for the site <br /> is 0.20 g. <br /> 5. Land within 1,000 feet of the facility is used primarily for pasture with some agriculture. <br /> Residential development is under consideration on parcels to the north of the site. <br /> 6. The facility receives an average of 8 inches of precipitation per year as measured at the <br /> Tracy 2 SSE weather station. <br />
