Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date <br /> they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. Immediately mark and manage all empty <br /> containers per this section. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 605 CCR 66262.34(f) Failed to completely label containers or portable tanks of hazardous waste. <br /> -One blue plastic 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the satellite accumulation area near the hazardous <br /> waste area without hazardous properties on the label. This was corrected on site. <br /> -One blue plastic 55 gallon drum was observed in the satellite accumulation area near the hazardous waste area <br /> with a faded, unreadable label. Contents of the drum were unknown. <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the satellite accumulation area near the largest wine tanks <br /> without a hazardous property on the label. This was corrected on site. <br /> -One black 55 gallon drum of used oil was observed in the satellite accumulation area on the south side of the <br /> property without hazardous properties on the label. This was corrected on site. <br /> All hazardous waste containers shall be marked with the following information: <br /> -the words"Hazardous Waste" <br /> -name and address of generator <br /> -hazardous properties <br /> -physical state <br /> -composition (contents) <br /> -accumulation start date <br /> Immediately label these containers and ensure that all hazardous waste containers are marked with all the required <br /> information. <br /> This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by December 27, 2018. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
